Liv Combe is a creative director, brand strategist, and community herbalist. Scott Keneally is a writer, documentary filmmaker, and former volunteer wildland firefighter. Together, we live in a sweet little home in Healdsburg, California.

Good Fire was born back in the spring of 2021 when Scott, who was working on the Northern Sonoma County Fire and Fuels Crew, had the idea to repurpose some of the wood that was being cleared for resiliency. Rather than chip or burn it, he set about to create a packaged firewood company that would dedicate a portion of profits to help expand fuel reduction initiatives.

This long-simmering dream was recently jumpstarted by a First Believer Grant from The Launch Pad Foundation, a 501(c)(3) that builds community by supporting grassroots projects driven by entrepreneurs and artists like us. (Thank you Chris & Anne!)
